The IHeartRadio Music Award for Hip-Hop Album of the Year is an award presented at the annual IHeartRadio Music Awards show, which recognizes the best hip-hop albums of the year
The award was first presented in 2014, when Eminem’s album The Marshall Mathers LP2 was awarded the honor. Since then, only four other artists have won the award: Kendrick Lamar (twice), J. Cole, Chance the Rapper, and Cardi B.
This year’s nominees are Lil Baby for My Turn, Megan Thee Stallion for Good News, Pop Smoke for Shoot for the Stars Aim for the Moon, Roddy Ricch for Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial, and Travis Scott for ASTROWORLD.
The winner will be announced at the 2021 IHeartRadio Music Awards show on May 27th.
