Trip Lee’s “The Good Life” is an excellent example of what Christian Hip Hop can be. It’s full of tight lyrics, catchy beats, and a positive message that is sure to encourage and uplift listeners. KB – Weight & Glory

Weight & Glory is the debut studio album by American Christian hip hop artist KB, released on July 17, 2012. The album features guest appearances from Lecrae, Bun B, Andy Mineo and Propaganda.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart and No. 5 on the Top Christian Albums chart. It also reached No. 15 on the Rap Albums chart and No. 43 on the Billboard 200.

Critical reception

The album received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Christgau’s Consumer Guide, Robert Christgau gave the album a three-star honorable mention, indicating “an enjoyable effort consumers attuned to its overriding aesthetic or individual vision may well treasure.” Andy Argyrakis of CCM Magazine gave the album four out of five stars, saying that “KB’s beats are mammoth while his flow is relentless.” rating the album four out of five stars.
