Introduction

Ramin Karimloo is a Canadian singer and actor known for his work in musical theatre. The Performance

Ramin Karimloo, who is of Iranian and Scottish descent, was born in England and raised in Toronto, Canada. He made his professional stage debut in the original Canadian production of “CATS” in 2000. In 2003, he relocated to London to star as the title character in the exuberant musical “The Phantom of the Opera” at Her Majesty’s Theatre.

Karimloo’s Broadway credits include “Les Misérables” (as Enjolras and Marius) and “Love Never Dies” (as The Phantom). He returned to the role of The Phantom in the West End production of “Love Never Dies” in 2010. Other notable credits include “TIme Stands Still,” “Anastasia,” “Oklahoma!,” and “Kiss Me, Kate.”

The Reactions

The internet had a lot of feelings about Ramin’s performance. Some people loved it, some people thought it was just okay, and some people thought it was terrible. But overall, most people seemed to enjoy it and thought that Ramin did a great job.

The Aftermath

After the final curtain, after the applause has died down and the stage is empty, what comes next? For some, the answer is a stiff drink and a ride home. For others, it’s a post-show ritual that helps them come down from the high of performing. Whether it’s spending time with loved ones, treating themselves to a special meal, or simply taking a moment to reflect on the show, these rituals help actors transition back to everyday life.

For Ramin Karimloo, one of the most celebrated performers of his generation, the post-show ritual is simple: he sings “Music of the Night” from “The Phantom of the Opera.”
