About Paulette

Paulette is a Cincinnati-based singer, songwriter, and musician. Paulette has been passionate about music from a young age, and she has been performing and writing her own songs for over 10 years. Paulette’s music is a blend of pop, rock, and R&B, and her songs are catchy and soulful. Paulette has a strong following in the Cincinnati music scene, and she has performed at many local venues. Paulette is currently working on her debut album, which is set to be released in the summer of 2020.

Paulette’s musical journey

Paulette has been singing and dancing since she was a little girl. She started taking piano lessons at age 5, and by age 7, she was studying both voice and piano at the Preparatory Department of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). As a teenager, she performed in numerous musical theatre productions with CCM’s MainStage company. After high school, Paulette attended CCM as a musical theatre major. While at CCM, she had the opportunity to perform in many operas and musicals, including “The Phantom of the Opera,” “My Fair Lady,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “Cinderella,” and “West Side Story.” She also traveled to New York City to perform in a workshop production of “The Scarlet Pimpernel.”

Following her time at CCM, Paulette moved to New York City to pursue a career in musical theatre. She has been fortunate to perform in several Off-Broadway shows and national tours. Some of her favorite credits include: the Off-Broadway productions of “Altar Boys” (Finalist for the NYMF Award for Outstanding Ensemble) and “Closer Than Ever” (York Theatre Company), and the national tours of “The Wizard of Oz” (Dorothy) and “Beauty and the Beast” (Belle). Paulette is also an accomplished vocalist, having sung backing vocals for Michael Bolton on his album “Gems – The Duets Album.”

Paulette is very excited to be making her Florida stage debut with Show Palace Dinner Theatre!
