The Broadway Musical

Following an audition process that spanned North America, Kevin Gray was selected to succeed Mr. Crawford in the title role and he made his Broadway debut on September 25, 1990. Mr. Gray played opposite Rebecca Luker who made her Broadway debut as “Christine.” The final performance of this first North American tour took place in New Orleans in 1992 after over three years and 1,600 performances across 41 cities.
