The Phantom of the Opera returns to the Music Hall at Fair Park this month, and we couldn’t be more excited! This classic tale of love, loss, and redemption has been thrilling audiences for decades, and we can’t wait to see it again.

Introduction

The Phantom of the Opera is a timeless story of tragedy, romance, and suspense that has captivated audiences around the world since it was first published in 1911. The novel has been adapted into numerous stage and film productions, most notably the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, which first opened in London’s West End in 1986. The musical went on to become the longest-running show in Broadway history, and Phantom has since been produced in more than 140 cities in 27 countries.

The classic tale will make its return to Dallas next month when the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera comes to the Music Hall at Fair Park. The tour will run from May 7-28, with tickets starting at $39.

The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a disfigured musical genius who lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who reside there. Meg Giry is a victim in both the musical and the novel, but her role is more expanded in the musical.
