The Avett Brothers – “Ain’t No Man”

The Avett Brothers are an American rock folk band from Concord, North Carolina. Formed in 2000, the group consists of brothers Scott Avett and Seth Avett, as well as Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon. Mike Marsh and Tania Elizabeth are touring members of the band. The band’s commercial breakthrough came with the release of their fourth album, I and Love and You, in 2009.

The Avett Brothers have released nine studio albums, four live albums, one extended play and one live concert film/documentary. Their tenth studio album True Sadness was released on June 24, 2016. “Ain’t No Man” is a single from that album.

The Head and the Heart – “All We Ever Knew”

The Head and the Heart is an indie folk band that formed in Seattle in 2009. The group’s self-titled debut album was released in 2011 and peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album’s lead single, “All We Ever Knew,” was a top 40 hit on the Adult Alternative Songs chart. The band’s follow-up album, Let’s Be Still, was released in 2013 and peaked at number 3 on the Billboard 200 chart.

With their fifth music video in four years, German rock-folk band Milky Chance once again stuns with their creativity. “Cocoon” is a stop-motion work of art that took the band six weeks to shoot. The video tells the story of a caterpillar’s journey to becoming a butterfly, with each member of the band playing a different stage in the creature’s life cycle. The result is an entrancing and beautiful visual accompaniment to an already enchanting song.

Mumford & Sons – “Believe”

Formed in 2007, Mumford & Sons is a London-based rock folk band that consists of Marcus Mumford, Winston Marshall, Ben Lovett, and Ted Dwane. The band rose to fame with the release of their debut album Sigh No More in 2009 and have since released two more albums, Babel (2012) and Wilder Mind (2015).

Mumford & Sons is known for their use of banjo, double bass, acoustic guitar, and drums in their music, as well as their vocal harmonies. The band has won several awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Album of the Year for Babel in 2013.

The War on Drugs is an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in 2005. The group is composed of Adam Granduciel (vocals, guitar), David Hartley (bass), Robbie Bennett (keyboards), Charlie Hall (drums), Jon Natchez (saxophone, keyboards) and Anthony LaMarca (guitar). The War on Drugs signed with Secretly Canadian in 2011 and released their debut album Slave Ambient the following year.
