Alice in Chains- “Dirt”

Alice in Chains is one of the most successful and well-known grunge bands of all time, and their album “Dirt” is considered by many to be one of the defining grunge albums. “Dirt” was released in 1992 and immediately drew attention for its dark, heavy sound and lyrics that dealt with tough topics like addiction and abuse. The album was a huge hit, selling more than four million copies, and it remains one of Alice in Chains’ most popular albums today.

Nirvana- “In Utero”

Nirvana’s third and final studio album, In Utero, was released on September 14, 1993. Recorded in just two weeks, the album was intended to stripping away the polished sheen of their previous album, Nevermind. The result was a rawer, more abrasive sound that reflected the band’s growing dissatisfaction with their newfound success.

Soundgarden- “Badmotorfinger”

“Badmotorfinger” is the third studio album by the American rock band Soundgarden, released on October 8, 1991, through A&M Records. The album achieved both commercial success and critical acclaim when it was first released, debuting at number 24 on the Billboard 200 and selling over two million copies in the United States by 1996. It has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

The album features some of Soundgarden’s most well-known songs, including “Rusty Cage”, “Outshined”, and “Jesus Christ Pose”. The latter two songs were released as singles, with “Outshined” peaking at number five on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and “Jesus Christ Pose” reaching number one. “Rusty Cage” was also included on the soundtrack to the film Singles.
