There are so many incredibly talented male gospel singers out there, it’s hard to choose just one. But if we had to pick just one, our vote would go to Travis Greene. He’s an amazing singer with a powerful voice that always seems to touch our soul. He has a way of making every gospel song he sings sound new and fresh, yet somehow familiar at the same time. Best Female Gospel Singer of 2016
There was no shortage of amazing gospel music in 2016. From old school to contemporary and everything in between, gospel music continues to inspire and uplift listeners all over the world.
One of the standouts this year was Tamela Mann, who won a Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song for her hit single “God Provides.” She also took home the award for Best Gospel Album for her album One Way.

Consisting of five sisters: Jacky Clark Chisholm, Denise Clark Bradford, Elbernita “Twinkie” Clark-Terrell, Dorinda Clark-Cole, and Karen Clark Sheard; the group has been active since the early 1970s.
