The Grammy-nominated producer and singer-songwriter offers up a message of hope with his latest release

Album: The Voice

The Voice is the eighth studio album by American singer-songwriter J. Moss, released on August 18, 2015 through P Music Group. The album peaked at number one on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart, becoming Moss’ third chart-topper.

Moss worked with longtime collaborators Fred Jerkins III, Vidal Davis and Aaron Wainwright on The Voice. New to the production team were Antonio Dixon and Phillip Feaster. The project was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia and Los Angeles, California.

Songs on The Voice include the lead single “Thank You”, “praise break” track “The Pray-ers”, ballad “I Wanna Know” and uptempo songs “Good & Bad” and “All I Need”.

This album is the fourth studio album by American gospel musician J. Moss. It was released on August 21, 2007, by Gospocentric Records. The album features production from Moss and Stanley Brown. Tuesday comprises two discs, with the first disc consisting of twelve tracks, and the second disc being a bonus DVD that contains Moss’s performance at the Experience Music Conference and additional behind-the-scenes footage.

Moss enlisted several guest appearances for the album, including Dorinda Clark-Cole, Fred Hammond and Karen Clark Sheard on the lead single “All I Want”. Tuesday received positive reviews from music critics upon its release. At Billboard magazine, they gave the album a positive review and called it “a potent set of modern pop/R&B hymns” moss lighter moments are impressive.” In addition, AllMusic’s Andy Kellman gave the album four out of five stars and said that it was “an inspired piece of work — one of the best gospel albums of 2007, in fact.”

He also has three BET Awards, eight Dove Awards, 43 Stellar Awards, two NAACP Image Awards and an American Music Award. He was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2015.

Franklin’s new album is his first since 2013’s “Hello Fear,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard gospel chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200. It was his eighth consecutive gospel chart-topper.

The new album features the single “123 Victory,” which was released last month and quickly became Franklin’s 20th No. 1 song on Billboard’s Hot Gospel Songs chart. It was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Gospel Performance/Song.

Other highlights include “Love Theory,” which is already No. 1 on the Hot Gospel Songs chart; “Wanna Be Happy?,” which could be a crossover hit; “Bigger Than Me,” a song about faith; and “ Juicy Fruit ,” a fun track that features rapper Snoop Dogg .

Album: Make Room

Jonathan McReynolds’ second album, Make Room, released in October 2016, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. The project also entered the Top Christian & Gospel Albums chart at No. 2 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts at No. 36 – making McReynolds the first solo gospel act to debut in the top 40 of that particular tally. “Make Room” was produced by Aaron Lindsay (NEEDTOBREATHE, Tye Tribbett) and includes the hit radio single “Not Lucky, I’m Loved.”

Jonathan McReynolds is a gospel music singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Chicago, Illinois. He has released three studio albums, Life Music (2013), Make Room (2016), and Jacob’s Ladder: Live in Concert (2018).

McReynolds was born in Chicago on October 11, 1988, the middle child of three boys. His father is a minister and his mother is a schoolteacher. McReynolds began playing the piano at age four and started writing songs when he was eight. He got his start in music by singing in his church choir and participating in community theater productions. McReynolds graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Music Business Administration.

After college, McReynolds worked as a music industry intern and as a promotions assistant for a Chicago radio station. In 2010, he released his first EP, Water to Wine. The following year, he released his first full-length album, Life Music. The album peaked at number one on the Billboard Gospel charts and received critical acclaim from both gospel and secular critics.

In 2016, McReynolds released his second album, Make Room. The album debuted at number two on the Billboard Gospel charts and featured the single “No Grey.” “No Grey” became McReynolds’ first song to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 79.

McReynolds’ third album, Jacob’s Ladder: Live in Concert was released in 2018. The album was recorded live at an event held in Nashville, Tennessee to promote racial unity within the Christian community.

McReynolds has won several awards for his work, including two Grammy Awards and five BET Awards. In 2016, he was named masseuse of the year by Ebony magazine
