Since then, Franklin has released thirteen additional albums, including 2002’s “Nu Nation Project”, which won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Gospel Album. In total, he has sold over twelve million albums worldwide and won nine Grammy Awards. He has also produced albums for other artists, including Tamela Mann, Fred Hammond and Marvin Sapp.

Yolanda Adams

Yolanda Adams is an American singer, songwriter, actress, record producer, and radio host of contemporary gospel, inspirational, and rhythm and blues. As of September 2009, she had sold 4.5 million albums since 1991 in the United States, according to SoundScan. On December 11, 2009, Billboard magazine named her the No. 1 Gospel Artist of the last decade. In May 2009, she was awarded the Stellar Gospel Music Award for Lifetime Achievement. Adams began her musical career singing background vocals for amateur groups in Houston until she was discovered by Thomas A. Dorsey during a music convention in 1982 and signed to his label Tribute Records. Her first album Just As I Am was released in 1987 and eventually platinum selling status was achieved in the United States. The album’s single “Into My Heart” peaked at number ten on Billboard’s Hot Black Singles chart in 1988. Later that year she released her second album Through The Storm which yielded prophetic Ministry titled “The Battle is Not Yours”. It peaked at number eighteen on Billboard’s 200 album chart and number five on its Top Black Albums chart.
