Daft Punk
Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo formed in 1993 by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. The Chemical Brothers are an English electronic music duo composed of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, who met in 1992 and formed the group in 1995. Along with Fatboy Slim and the Prodigy, they helped to pioneer the big beat genre. In 1999, they received five MTV Video Music Awards for their single “Let Forever Be”. Their second album, Dig Your Own Hole, was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album while setting a record as the first album ever to go platinum in that category.
