The Bleach Rock Musical Cast is Finally Here!

We are excited to announce the cast of the upcoming Bleach Rock Musical! The musical will be directed byTakumi Matsumoto, with music by Shiro Sagisu, and will star:

The musical is set to open in Japan in the summer of 2017.

We are so excited to finally introduce the cast of the Bleach Rock Musical! This has been a passion project of ours for years, and we are thrilled to see it finally come to fruition.

The cast is made up of some incredibly talented young actors and actresses, who we think are really going to bring the characters to life.

Leading the cast is Hannah Mae Lee as Rukia Kuchiki. Hannah is an up-and-coming actress who has already made a name for herself in the theater community. We think she is going to be a breakout star in this production.

Yuya Matsushita as Ichigo Kurosaki
Matsushita is best known for his roles in the Japanese television dramas “Hana Kimi” and “Q10.” He will be making his debut in the Bleach Rock Musical as the lead character, Ichigo Kurosaki.

Ryotaro Okiayu as Byakuya Kuchiki
Okiayu is a veteran voice actor who has voiced characters in some of the most popular anime series out there, including “Bleach,” “Naruto,” and “One Piece.” He will be playing Captain Byakuya Kuchiki in the rock musical.

Rie Kugimiya as Rukia Kuchiki
Kugimiya is another well-known voice actress, who is known for her roles in “Fullmetal Alchemist” and “Toradora!” She will be playing Rukia Kuchiki, Captain Byakuya’s little sister, in the rock musical.

Daisuke Hirakawa as Renji Abarai
Hirakawa is a voice actor and stage actor who has worked on many popular anime series, such as “Free!” and ” Attack on Titan.” He will be playing Renji Abarai, one of Ichigo’s friends and fellow Soul Reapers, in the rock musical.

Rukia Kuchiki: Jessica McCafferty

Jessica McCafferty is excited to be making her debut in the Bleach Rock Musical. She is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and has been performing professionally for over 10 years. Some of her recent credits include originating the role of Jackie in The Way We Get By (2nd Stage Uptown) and Alice in Sex With Strangers (WP Theater).

Ichigo Kurosaki: Matthew Willis

Matthew Willis is thrilled to be appearing in his first rock musical. He has been performing on stage and screen for over 15 years. His TV credits include guest-starring roles on Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and Elementary. He can also be seen in the upcoming film The Girl Who Invented Kissing.

Orihime Inoue: SamanthaMarie Ware

SamanthaMarie Ware is a Tony Award-winning singer and actress. She originated the role of Gilda in the Broadway production of My Fair Lady and won a Tony for her performance in The Wiz. She has also appeared in The Color Purple, Porgy and Bess, and Chicago.

We are thrilled to finally introduce the cast of the Bleach Rock Musical! This highly anticipated production has been in the works for years, and we can’t wait to see these talented performers bring the story of Bleach to life on stage.

The Bleach Rock Musical tells the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student who gains the ability to see ghosts after coming into contact with a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki. When Rukia is injured while protecting Ichigo from a Hollow, she is forced to transfer her powers to him, and he must take on the responsibility of protecting humans from evil spirits.

Ichigo will be played by Ryōta Katayama, a rising star in the Japanese musical theatre scene. Ryōta has previously appeared in productions of Rent and Les Misérables, and we are confident that he will bring the same passion and energy to Bleach.

Rukia will be played by Risa Koike, who is making her debut in the Bleach Rock Musical. Risa is a talented singer and actress, and we are excited to see what she will bring to the role of Rukia.

Ruki Matsumoto is best known for her starring role in the popular K-pop group Girls’ Generation. She’ll be making her stage debut in the Bleach rock musical, playing the lead character of Ichigo Kurosaki.

Yuuta Mochizuki is a Japanese actor and model who is best known for his work in commercials and music videos. He’ll be playing Rukia Kuchiki, Ichigo’s Soul Reaper partner, in the rock musical.

Ryusei Nakao as Byakuya Kuchiki
Ryusei Nakao is a Japanese voice actor who has worked on a number of anime and video games over his career. He’s set to play Byakuya Kuchiki, Rukia’s older brother and captain of the 6th Division, in the rock musical.

The wait is finally over! The highly anticipated Bleach Rock Musical cast has been announced and we could not be more excited. For those of you who are not familiar with the Bleach Rock Musical, it is a stage adaptation of the popular anime and manga series, Bleach. The story follows the life of Ichigo Kurosaki, a young man with the ability to see ghosts, as he fights to protect the living from evil spirits.

The cast of the Bleach Rock Musical is made up of some of Japan’s most popular stage and screen actors. We are thrilled to introduce you to the stars of the show!

Leading the cast is MIYAVI as Ichigo Kurosaki. MIYAVI is best known for his roles in the films “The Last Samurai” and “Unbroken”. He has also starred in several stage productions, including “RENT” and “Les Misérables”.

Joining MIYAVI on stage is HANA as Rukia Kuchiki. HANA is a stage actress best known for her work in the musicals “Wicked” and “Les Misérables”. She will be making her debut in the Bleach Rock Musical.

Rounding out the cast are YUI as Orihime Inoue, SUGIZO as Uryū Ishida, and KIRINJI as Yasutora Sado. YUI is a pop singer-songwriter who rose to fame with her hit single “Good-bye Days”. She has also appeared in several films and television shows, including “Nana” and “Hana Kimi”. SUGIZO is a musician best known for his work with the Japanese rock band X Japan. He has also appeared on stage in musicals such as “The Lion King” and “Saint Seiya”. KIRINJI is a hip-hop artist who has released several successful albums in Japan. He will be making his debut in the Bleach Rock Musical.

We are so excited to finally introduce the cast of the Bleach Rock Musical!

Ichigo Kurosaki will be played by Takuya Kimura. Ichigo is a high school student who has the ability to see ghosts. He is thrust into the world of Soul Reapers when he meets Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper who is in need of his help.

Rukia Kuchiki will be played by Yui Aragaki. Rukia is a Soul Reaper who is tasked with purifying souls. She meets Ichigo when she is injured in battle and he agrees to help her.

Sōsuke Aizen will be played by Kenichi Matsuyama. Aizen is the captain of the 5th Division in the Soul Society and he has ambitions to take over the world.

Kisuke Urahara will be played by Ryuhei Matsuda. Urahara is the captain of the 12th Division in the Soul Society and he runs a shop that sells items that Souls Reapers need.

We are so excited to finally introduce the cast of the Bleach Rock Musical! Here are the characters you will meet in this brand new production:

Ichigo Kurosaki: The main character of the Bleach Rock Musical, Ichigo is a high school student who has the ability to see ghosts. He meets a Soul Reaper named Rukia Kuchiki who ends up giving him her powers, making him a Soul Reaper as well.

Rukia Kuchiki: A Soul Reaper who gives her powers to Ichigo after he saves her from a Hollow. She is often clueless about the human world and Ichigo often has to help her out.

Orihime Inoue: A classmate of Ichigo’s who can see spirits as well. She falls in love with him and often helps him out on his missions to save Hollow-possessed humans.

Chad Yasutora: Another one of Ichigo’s classmates, Chad is a big guy with a heart of gold. He also develops supernatural abilities and joins forces with Ichigo to defeat Hollows.

Uryū Ishida: A Quincy, Uryū is an archer who uses his skills to fight Hollows. He initially hates Soul Reapers but eventually comes to respect them (and Ichigo) after working together to defeat enemies.
