Introduction
Adam is a Dutch electronic dance music group that was formed in 1999. The group consists of brothers Laidback Luke van Scheppingen and Stefan van Scheppingen, and close friend Tommy Sunshine. They are best known for their hit singles “Get Down” and “Bowls”, as well as their remixes of tracks by other artists such as Fatboy Slim, Moby, Armand Van Helden and Daft Punk.
Originally from Amsterdam, the group has been based in New York City since 2001. In 2005, they founded their own record label, Mixmash Records. In addition to their own productions and remixes, Adam has also released numerous DJ mix compilations. They have performed at major music festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival, and continue to tour regularly throughout the United States and Europe.

Adam is a Dutch electronic dance music group from Amsterdam, Netherlands. The group was founded by Eden de Hond, Robin de Hond, and Nick van der Schilden in 2007. The group has released two studio albums, both of which peaked at number one on the Dutch Albums Chart.
Formation
The group was formed in 1997 by three friends: brothers Piet Bervoets and Rik van der Gouw, and classically trained musician Jordi van den Heuvel. Adam had its first big hit with the song “Get Down”, which reached the top ten of the Dutch Top 40 chart in 1998.
Success
Adam is a Dutch electronic dance music group, best known for their hit singles “I Want You” and “Smile”. Adam is a Dutch electronic dance music group, consisting of producers and DJs Jasper Heldens and Jelle Stekelenburg. The duo met in 2007 while attending the same school in the Dutch city of Utrecht. They began making music together, and by 2009 they had signed to the Dutch label Spinnin’ Records.
Genres
There are many different genres of electronic dance music, but the two most popular are trance and techno. Trance is a more uplifting and emotional type of music, while techno is more aggressive and dark.
Sound
Sound is a Brit Award-winning English synth-pop duo, formed in London in 1986 and consisting of former Blancmange members Neil Arthur (vocals, guitar) and Stephen Luscombe (keyboards).
The band’s debut album, The Forum, was released in September 1985 on Blanco y Negro Records. It peaked at number fifteen on the UK Albums Chart and spawned the singles “Love to the World”, “Resonance”, “Change Your Mind” and ” Jericho”.
Blanco y Negro dropped Sound after poor sales of The Forum, but the band was quickly signed by Juice Box Records, an independent label set up by former Sire Records employees. Sound’s second album, Jeopardy, was released in October 1986 and reached number twelve on the UK Albums Chart. It spawned the singles “Sense of Purpose”, “Silence”, their biggest hit single “Calling Your Name” (number eight on the UK Singles Chart), and “Distant Voices”.

Former
