The Internship
The internship is designed for undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in video production and have a passion for Electronic Dance Music. The internship will provide students with an opportunity to learn about video production, while also gaining experience in the music industry. The internship will last for 12 weeks and will be based in Los Angeles, CA.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be working closely with the producers to help with the creative process of making Electronic Dance Music Videos.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Assisting in the pre-production stage: helping to come up with ideas and treatments for music videos.
-Being on set during shoots to help with logistics, setting up and striking set, and general running around.
-Post production work: helping to edit videos, create graphics, and manage social media accounts.
What We Expect From You
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for music and video production. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning about the creative process of making music videos, as well as an understanding of the technical aspects of video production.
In this role, you will be assisting our team in the pre-production, production, and post-production phases of video projects. This will include tasks such as research, storyboarding, shot listing, cast/crew coordination, location scouting, managing shoot schedules, and assisting with administrative tasks. During the post-production phase, you will also be responsible for helping to edit footage, create graphics, and mix/master audio.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work independently and take initiative when needed. You should also have excellent time management skills and be able to juggle multiple tasks at once. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in video production or music marketing.
