This week, Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” spends a fourth week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart (dated April 23), while The Chainsmokers vault 16-2 with “Don’t Let Me Down,” featuring Daya.
On Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, “Sorry” holds at its No. 1 peak with 33 million U.S. streams and 24,000 sold in the tracking week ending April 7, according to Nielsen Music. The song concurrently reaches the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 for a second frame, rising 12-10 (thanks largely to its radio momentum; it jumps 14-11 on Radio Songs, up 34 percent to 88 million audience impressions).
Meanwhile, The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” becomes the duo’s first No. 2 hit on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and first entry in the top 10 since their breakout smash “#SELFIE” led for two weeks in May 2014. The new tune soars 16-2 fueled by its 39 million streams and sales of 46,000 following its first full week of availability (due largely to its 99-cent sale price). Additionally, the track zooms 21-14 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay with 3 million in radio reach (up 34 percent).
