The Unicorns were a Canadian indie rock band from Montreal, Quebec, consisting of Alden Penner and Nick Thorburn. They were active from 2000 to 2004 and released two albums, Who Will Cut Our Hair When We’re Gone? in 2003 and stars in 2007. The band had a rotating lineup for live shows, with members includingRyan Gaudreau, J’aime Tambeur, Jamie Thompson, Alden Penner’s brother Daniel Penner and Thorburn’s cousin Michael on drums.
