Toyota Music Factory is an open-air dining, entertainment and office destination located in the Las Colinas Urban Center in Irving, Texas. The development encompasses more than 16 acres and features a 300, 000 square-foot House of Blues Dallas concert hall and restaurant, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Magnolia Theatre,IMAX theatre, more than 30 restaurants and bars, a boutique hotel with 150 rooms and suites, apartments, offices for more than 2, 400 employees and visitor parking for 7, 200 cars

History

Toyota Music Factory is an open-air mixed-use entertainment complex located in Irving, Texas. The complex is situated on 17 acres (6.9 ha) of land and includes a 300,000-square-foot (28,000 m2) outdoor amphitheater with a capacity of 6,350 people. It also features a gas fireplace and two 40-foot (12 m) television screens. The complex opened on September 1, 2017.

The Toyota Music Factory was developed by The Irvine Company and is managed by Live Nation. The project was announced in December 2014 as a $200 million redevelopment of the former Irving Mall site. The project broke ground in April 2016 and opened on September 1, 2017.

The Toyota Music Factory is home to several restaurants and bars, including Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Bowl & Barrel, Off the Record, PBR Texas, School of Rock, the weekly Wednesday night party known as Voltage, and Yard House.

Yard House, the much-anticipated American gastropub from Darden Restaurants, Inc., will open at Toyota Music Factory on Thursday, March 8. The grand opening will mark the brand’s 50th location nationwide and its first in Texas. From its innovative menu to its immune to trends, Yard House has been a trailblazer in the culinary world since its founding in 1996.

History

Yard House is an American sports bar chain owned by Darden Restaurants. With over 80 locations across the United States, it is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The first Yard House opened in Long Beach, California in 1996.

The restaurant’s namesake derives from its early days when each location had a large glass-enclosed patio area called “The Yard” which was surrounded by garage doors that could be opened during warm weather. The chain is now operated by Darden Restaurants, while still maintaining its original Orange County roots.

Yard House has been featured on The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, hosted by Guy Fieri.

Yard House Toyota Music Factory is set to open on Thursday, August 3, the first restaurant to open at Toyota Music Factory. The 16,000-square-foot, two-story restaurant will feature a large outdoor patio with views of the live music stage and lawn. Toyota Music Factory is located at 300 W. Las Colinas Blvd. in Irving.
