The group’s lineup has changed several times over the years, with the most notable change being the departure of keyboardist Mike Pinder in 1978. The band has released nineteen studio albums, fourteen live albums, and sixty-three singles. They have been awarded eighteen gold and platinum records. The Moody Blues were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018.

The theatre portion of the venue was converted from a 1/2-mile (800 m) oval horse track to a theatre in 1954. The first concert at the newly converted theatre was on July 2, 1956, with Tony Martin headlining. In 1974, theFairground Associates of New York purchased the venue and renamed it the “Westbury Music Fair”.
The Moody Blues filmed their live album/concert film Live at the Royal Albert Hall at the venue in 1992.

The Moody Blues came on stage at 8:00 pm and the crowd went wild. They started the show with “Nights in White Satin” and the audience was on their feet the whole time. The energy in the room was electric and everyone was having a great time. The concert was an amazing experience and I’m so glad I was able to see them perform live.
