B.B. King was a legendary blues singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is considered one of the most influential blues musicians of all time, and his music has inspired generations of artists. Born in Mississippi in 1925, King began his career playing in clubs and bars in the 1940s. He rose to prominence in the 1950s with his hit song “The Thrill Is Gone,” which became a signature tune for him. Over the course of his career, King released more than 60 albums and toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. He continued to perform and record until his death in 2015.
Stevie Ray Vaughan
Stevie Ray Vaughan (October 3, 1954 – August 27, 1990) was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. In spite of a relatively brief mainstream career spanning seven years, he is widely considered one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of blues music, and one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Vaughan was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He began playing guitar at the age of seven, inspired by his older brother Jimmie. In 1971 he dropped out of high school to join his brother’s band Triple Threat Revue. From 1975 to 1977 Vaughan was a member of Double Trouble, a blues rock band that released its debut album in 1978. He gained international recognition after his performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1982. The following year he released his debut solo studio album Texas Flood; it sold over half a million copies and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Vaughan died in a helicopter crash on August 27, 1990.

Its following studio album Meteora (2003) continued the band’s success, topping the Billboard 200 album chart in 2003, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the world.
In 2003, MTV2 named Linkin Park the sixth-greatest band of the music video era and the third-best of the new millennium. Billboard ranked Linkin Park No. 19 on the Best Artists of the Decade chart. The band was inducted into Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010.
