The group have sold an estimated 200 million records worldwide, including 74.5 million units in the United States. By 2013, they had spent more than 700 weeks on the UK Albums Chart, longer than any other artists except The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, and had been awarded 15 platinum and 31 gold discs. Pink Floyd were inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005.

Formed in London in 1962, the Rolling Stones have been one of the most influential and popular bands in rock music for over 50 years. Queen
Queen is a British rock band formed in London in 1970. The classic line-up was Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar), Roger Taylor (drums) and John Deacon (bass guitar). Queen’s early works incorporated elements of classical music, blues and pop. Their 1974 album Sheer Heart Attack propelled them to new heights of success with the hit single “Killer Queen”, while their 1977 album News of the World reached number one in several countries with the anthemic “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions”. In 1991, Mercury died of complications from AIDS, and Deacon retired in 1997. Since then, May and Taylor have toured under the name “Queen +” with vocalists Paul Rodgers and later Adam Lambert.
AC/DC
Formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, AC/DC is a Australian rock band that has sold more than 200 million records worldwide. The group has released 17 studio albums, including such classics as “Highway to Hell” and “Back in Black.” They are one of the best-selling bands of all time.

Nirvana was an American rock band from Aberdeen, Washington, formed in 1987. It was founded by singer and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic. Nirvana went through a succession of drummers, the longest-lasting and best-known being Dave Grohl, who joined in 1990. Though the band dissolved in 1994 after the death of Cobain, their music maintains a popular following and continues to influence modern rock and roll culture.
