When Moon was asked what would happen if The Who and Cream (another hugely successful band of the time) were to play together, he replied that it would “go over like a lead balloon” (meaning it would be a complete disaster). Moon’s comment was misheard as “Led Zeppelin”, and the name stuck.
3.”Stairway to Heaven” is one of the most popular and enduring songs in rock history, but it was almost never released. Jimmy Page wanted to keep it off the album because he thought it would be too popular and overshadow the other tracks.
