“The End is Near”

“The End is Near” is the first single from Ab-Soul’s album These Days…. The song was produced by Willie B of Digi+Phonics and features a guest verse from Black Hippy affiliate Jay Rock. The song’s music video was directed by Rob Hatch-Miller and Sylvain systematic of Pomp&Clout.

“Terrorist Threats”

Ab-Soul’s “Terrorist Threats” features Jhené Aiko and Danny Brown, and is produced by Friendzone. The music video, directed by Mike Piscitelli, features the three artists in a post-apocalyptic world.

“Control System”

“Control System” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Ab-Soul. It was released on May 11, 2012, as the lead single from his second studio album of the same name. The song features a guest appearance from fellow American rappers Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock. Along with the single’s release, a music video for “Control System” was released on YouTube on May 11, 2012. The video features all three artists in a warehouse location, rapping their verses while surrounded by a crowd of people.

“Tree of Life” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Ab-Soul. The song was released on May 5, 2014, as the lead single from his third studio album These Days… (2014). The song, produced by frequent collaborators Digi+Phonics, features a chopped and screwed sample of “Mystic Brew” by jazz fusion band Ronnie Foster. “Tree of Life” peaked at number 97 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

“Just Another Day”

“Just Another Day” is the first music video from American hip hop recording artist Ab-Soul. The song is taken from his second studio album, These Days… (2014). The music video was released on August 4, 2014.

The “Just Another Day” music video was directed by Fredo Tovar and Scott Frazier of Uknown Creative. It was shot in Los Angeles, California in late July 2014. The video features Soulo sitting on a bench in an alleyway rapping the song’s first verse. As the verse progresses, the scene cuts to Soulo walking down the street and entering a building. The second verse is then rapped by Soulo while he walks up a flight of stairs; this is intercut with scenes of a young woman walking down the same street.

The video ends with Soulo sitting on the bench in the alleyway, and the woman joining him. They share a brief conversation before she leaves and Soulo closes his eyes, lost in thought.

“SOPA Blackout”

“SOPA Blackout” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Ab-Soul, taken from his second studio album Control System (2012). The song, produced by frequent collaborator Speakerbomb, features a guest appearance from American singer JMSN. It was released on May 22, 2012, as the third single from the album.

The music video for “SOPA Blackout” was directed by Mike Woks and released on August 1, 2012. The video features Ab-Soul and JMSN in a dimly lit room, with Ab-Soul performing the song while JMSN sings the hook.

“God’s Reign”

“God’s Reign” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Ab-Soul, released on August 20, 2013, as the first single from his third studio album These Days…. The song, produced by Phonix Beats, features guest appearances from American singer SZA and English singer Jesse Boykins III. Upon its release, the song peaked at number 90 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

A music video to accompany the release of “God’s Reign” was first released onto YouTube on August 20, 2013 at a total length of five minutes and two seconds. The video was directed by APLUS Filmz. It features Ab-Soul rapping inside of a warehouse that is being policed by men in riot gear. He is then seen rapping in front of a wall with graffiti that reads “long live A$AP Yams”. The video ends with a dedication to Yams, who died earlier in the year.

“Stigmata”

“Stigmata” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Ab-Soul. The song was produced by American record producer Tae Beast, and was released on May 5, 2014, as the first single from Ab-Soul’s second studio album, These Days… (2014). The song peaked at number 100 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The official music video for “Stigmata” was directed by Fredo Tovar and Scott Fleishman. It was released on May 27, 2014. The video features Ab-Soul walking around Los Angeles while rapping the song’s lyrics.

“Nevermind That”

“Nevermind That” is the first single from Ab-Soul’s second studio album, These Days…. The song was released on May 5, 2014. The music video for “Nevermind That” was released on May 12, 2014.

“Closure”

“Closure” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Ab-Soul. It was released on June 24, 2014 by Top Dawg Entertainment, as the fourth single from his second studio album, These Days… (2014). The song, produced by American production team Digi+Phonics, contains a sample of “Don’t You Worry ’bout a Thing” as performed by Steve Wonder. Upon its release, “Closure” peaked at number 71 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

“Outro”

The music video for “Outro” was released on December 21, 2012. The video features Ab-Soul driving around Los Angeles at night, while scenes of him and a female love interest are intercut. The video ends with a dedication to Alori Joh, who died in 2012.

“Outro” is a song by American hip hop recording artist Ab-Soul, taken from his debut studio album Control System (2012). The song features fellow American rappers Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar. It was produced by American record producer Tae Beast. The song was released on May 15, 2012, as the album’s fifth single.
