How America’s Hip Hop Music Scene Is Changing

The hip hop music scene in America is always changing and evolving. Here’s a look at how it’s shifting and what that means for the future.

The American hip hop music scene has been growing and evolving since the late 1970s.

Since its humble beginnings in the Bronx, hip hop has become one of the most popular and influential genres in the world. But while the music has changed massively since those early days, one thing that remains constant is America’s love for it.

In recent years, however, there has been a shift in the American hip hop scene. In particular, more and more artists are beginning to experiment with different styles and sounds, resulting in a much more diverse and interesting music scene.

One of the most notable changes has been the rise of so-called “trap” music. This subgenre originated in the south-eastern United States, and is characterized by its heavy use of bass, often accompanied by 808 drums. Trap music has become extremely popular in recent years, with artists such as Migos, Future and Young Thug finding mainstream success.

Another change that has taken place is the increasing popularity of mumble rap. This style of rap is defined by its slurred, often incomprehensible lyrics, and is often criticized for being unintelligible and lazy. However, there are many mumble rappers who are extremely skilled at what they do, and there is no doubt that this subgenre has changed the landscape of hip hop.

It is clear that America’s hip hop scene is undergoing a period of change at the moment. Whether this change is for better or for worse remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: hip hop will continue to evolve as time goes on.
