The complete collection of Harding’s works numbers some five hundred compositions, among which are brilliant overtures, splendidly characteristic waltzes, piano pieces full of fire and dash, songs both heart-stirring and tender, charming little miniatures for violin and piano, clarinet solos redolent of the most fetching melodies of their Composer’s native Southland, and a wealth of other compositions in almost every form of instrumental and vocal music.

The first edition consisted of thirty-six songs, all of which were written by Harding.
