Reggae Fusion

In 1982, British rock band The Police released their fourth studio album, Ghost in the Machine. The album featured the song “Every Breath You Take,” which became an instant classic. The song fused elements of reggae with rock and roll, giving birth to what we now know as reggae fusion.

Buju Banton

Buju Banton is a Jamaican reggae singer who was born in 1973. He started his career in the early 1990s and has released thirteen studio albums. His most recent album, Long Walk to Freedom, was released in 2010. He is known for his socially conscious lyrics and for being one of the most influential dancehall artists of all time.

Beenie Man

Beenie Man, aka Moses Anthony Davis, is a Jamaican reggae artist who was one of the most popular dancehall artists of the 1990s. He released his debut album, The Doctor, in 1992. Since then, he has released 13 studio albums and has been nominated for five Grammy Awards.
