Chronixx

Chronixx is one of the hottest young names in reggae right now, and 2016 was a great year for him. He released his debut album, Chronology, to critical acclaim, and it quickly shot to the top of the reggae charts. His unique brand of vintage-inspired roots reggae has won him legions of fans all over the world, and he looks set to have another huge year in 2017.

Protoje

Protoje is another artist who had a great 2016. His third album, Ancient Future, was nominated for a Grammy Award, and he also picked up two prestigious Jamaican music awards. Protoje is one of the leaders of Jamaica’s modern roots revival movement, and his unique blend of reggae, dub and dancehall has won him fans all over the world. We’re sure he’ll have another big year in 2017.

Morgan Heritage

Morgan Heritage are one of the most successful reggae groups of all time, and they returned to form in 2016 with their excellent album Avrakedabra. Soja are an American reggae band who had a big year in 2016 with their album Amid The Noise And Haste. The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Reggae chart, and it also won them a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album. Soja are sure to be one of the biggest names in reggae again in 2017.
