The 2018 Blues on the River Music Fest is just around the corner, and we can’t wait! This year’s lineup is packed with talented musicians, so be sure to check it out. And of course, don’t forget to swing by our booth to say hi!

Introduction

The 2018 Blues on the River Music Fest will take place on Saturday, August 4th from noon to 10pm at Riverside Park in downtown Chattanooga.

This year’s lineup includes:

-George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic

– The Original Wailers
– Fishbone
– and many more!

In addition to great music, there will be food and craft vendors, a kids’ zone, and a beer garden. This is a rain or shine event, so come out and enjoy a day of blues!

Bands

The 2018 Blues on the Road Music Fest features three days of live music from some of the best blues bands in the country. Held annually in New Orleans, the event draws crowds from all over the world.

The Blues Brothers Revue

The Original Blues Brothers Band is a band formed in 1978 by Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi as part of a musical sketch on Saturday Night Live. The band found success both on television and in film, with their 1980 album Briefcase Full of Blues becoming platinum-certified. The band has toured extensively, playing both blues and rock music.

Buddy Guy

Buddy Guy is a legendary blues guitarist, singer and songwriter. He is widely considered one of the most influential guitarists of all time, and has won seven Grammy Awards. Guy has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grammy Awards. He continue to tour and perform regularly.

Canned Heat

Canned Heat is a blues-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. The band is best known for their hit songs “Going Up the Country” and “On the Road Again”, both of which became staples of 1960s counterculture. Canned Heat continues to tour regularly, and has released several live albums in recent years.
