One Direction’s third album, Midnight Memories, was released in late 2013. The album topped the charts in several countries, including the United Kingdom, United States, and Australia. The album’s lead single, “Best Song Ever”, reached number two on the UK Singles Chart and number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. The band’s second single from the album, “Story of My Life”, reached number two in the UK and number six in the US.
