From the first track, “One More Night”, to the last, “Hill and Gully Ride”, this album is packed with catchy hooks, excellent production values, and of course, Signal’s signature smooth flow. Whether you’re a fan of reggae or not, this album is definitely worth a listen.

The Making of the Album

Busy Signal’s new album “Reggae Music Again” was released on August 21, 2012. The album was recorded in Kingston, Jamaica and was produced by Jah Boy. The album features guest appearances from Ky-Mani Marley, Bounty Killer, and Delly Ranx.

The Recording Process

The recording process for the album began in January of 2017 with Busy Signal working with producers from around the world. The album was recorded in studios in Jamaica, Los Angeles, and Miami. Busy Signal mixed and mastered the album himself, with assistance from engineer Dave Darlington.

The result is an 13-track masterpiece that features some of the best reggae music we’ve heard in years. If you’re a fan of reggae, or just good music in general, you need to check out ‘Reggae Music Again.’

The Writing Process

On the writing process for the album, Busy Signal says “I just went into the studio and I wrote from my heart. I wrote about what’s going on in the world; I wrote about love, I wrote about a lot of things that people can relate to. And when people hear the album they will see that it’s coming from my heart.”

The Album Itself

Listening to Reggae Music Again is like taking a trip to Jamaica. The album features 18 tracks of nothing but reggae classics. Busy Signal’s smooth voice and chilled out vibes flow throughout the entire album, making it the perfect record to kick back and relax to.

The album features a mix of old and new songs, all of which are incredibly catchy and will have you dancing in no time. The Sound

The sound of this album is very fresh and new, while still staying true to Busy Signal’s reggae roots. He has definitely pushed the envelope with some of the production and sound choices on this album, and it has paid off big time. The beats are very catchy and will keep you hooked for the entire hour-long ride. And if you’re a fan of rap/hip-hop, there are definitely some elements of that sprinkled throughout the album as well. Busy Signal has always been one of the more versatile artists in the reggae scene, and that is certainly on display here.
