Camp Rock 3: Live for Music is an upcoming musical drama television film and the third and final installment in the Camp Rock film series.
It’s been five years since the events of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, and the cast of characters have all moved on with their lives. Mitchie Torres (Demi Lovato) is now a successful musician, working on her third album with her record label. Instead of heading back to her hometown of Boston, she decides to take a break from the music industry and return to Camp Rock.
Camp Rock was always special to Mitchie, and she finds herself drawn back to the place where she found her true passion for music. She’s not the only one who’s been thinking about Camp Rock lately — Shane Gray (Joe Jonas), Nate Gray (Nick Jonas), and Dana Turner (Chloe Bridges) all receive invitations to return to camp as well. With a new generation of aspiring musicians ready to take their place at Camp Rock, it’s up to the original cast to show them what it means to truly Live for Music.

The costumes for “Camp Rock 3: Live for Music” were created by costume designer Mary E. Vogt. Vogt, who has worked on Broadway musicals and Hollywood feature films, said that the goal was to create a “rock ‘n’ roll world” for the movie.
The cast wore a mix of vintage and contemporary clothing. For the girls, Vogt chose short skirts and baby-doll dresses in bright colors. The boys wore tight jeans and leather jackets. Some of the characters had specific style choices that were based on their personality. For example, lesbian character Jan is always seen in flannel shirts and ripped jeans.
The costumes helped to create a fun and energetic atmosphere on set. They also reflected the teenage characters’ growing maturity; as they get older, they start to dress more like adults.
The film was shot on location at a real summer camp named Camp Star in upstate New York. The cast and crew stayed at the camp for the duration of filming, which took place over the course of six weeks.
