The Funk-tastic Ad Music

Century Link’s Ad Music is Funk-tastic! The company has been using funk music in their commercials for years, and it’s become one of their most distinguishing features.

The music is often catchy and upbeat, making it hard to forget. It’s also been known to get stuck in people’s heads long after they’ve seen the commercial.

Some of the most popular songs used in Century Link’s ads include “I Believe in Miracles” by Hot Chocolate, “Funkytown” by Lipps Inc., and “Can You Feel It” by The Jacksons.

Whether you love it or hate it, there’s no denying that Century Link’s ad music is funk-tastic!

The Band behind the Music

Funkadelic was an American band formed in 1968. The band’s style has been described as a mix of psychedelic rock, soul, and funk. They have been credited as being one of the pioneers of the funk rock genre.

The band’sleader was George Clinton, and their drummer was Bernie Worrell. The band’s bassist Bootsy Collins has been credited as one of the innovators of the “slap bass” technique.

The band released their debut album, Funkadelic, in 1970. The album was a critical and commercial success, and is often considered to be one of the greatest debut albums in rock history.

Funkadelic’s second album, Free Your Mind… And Your Ass Will Follow, was released in 1970. The album is often considered to be their masterpiece, and is cited as one of the greatest albums of all time by magazines such as Rolling Stone and Pitchfork Media.

The band’s third album, Maggot Brain, was released in 1971. The album is considered to be a classic of the genre, and is often cited as one of the greatest albums ever made by critics such as Robert Christgau and Lester Bangs.

The band’s fourth album, America Eats Its Young, was released in 1972. The album was a commercial and critical failure, and is generally considered to be one of the worst albums ever made. Clinton has since disowned the album, calling it “an embarrassment.”

The band’s fifth album, Cosmic Slop, was released in 1973. The album received mixed reviews from critics, but was a commercial success.

The band’s sixth album, Standing on the Verge of Getting It On, was released in 1974. The album is considered to be one of their most psychedelic and political works.
It features the track “Red Hot Mama”, which became one of their most popular songs.

The Message of the Music

The message of the music is that it’s time to get up and move. It’s time to get funky. The grocery store can wait. The dishes can wait. It’s time to get down and have some fun.Life is too short to waste time being inactive. That’s the message of the music, and it’s a message we can all get behind.

Conclusion

We really enjoyed the music in Century Link’s latest ad campaign. It’s funky, fresh, and really gets you moving. We think it’s a great choice for an ad campaign that is all about staying connected and keeping up with the fast pace of today’s world.
