Louis the Child

Louis the Child is an electronic music duo from Chicago, Illinois. The duo consists of Robby Hauldren and Freddy Kennett. They are best known for their singles “It’s Strange” and “Fire”, which peaked at number 13 and number 24 respectively on the US Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

The duo met in high school through a mutual friend, and began making music together in 2013. They gained popularity through SoundCloud, where they uploaded remixes of other artists’ songs as well as original tracks. In 2016, they released their debut EP, Love Is Alive. The EP peaked at number 5 on the US Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Their debut album, Here For Now, was released on June 26, 2020.

Alison is known for her high-energy live shows, which often incorporate acrobatics and pyrotechnics. She’ll be performing at the Concord Music Hall in Chicago on June 9th.

Kaskade

Kaskade is an American EDM DJ and producer. His stage name was inspired by a nature book when he saw a picture of a waterfall and a co-worker commented “That’s a nice kaskade.” He has produced numerous hit songs including “I Remember,” “Be Still,” “Move For Me,” “Something Something,” and many more. Kaskade has been nominated for six Grammy Awards and has won two International Dance Music Awards. He is currently touring the world and will be performing in Chicago on June 9th at the UIC Pavilion.

Madeon is an electronic music producer from France. His music is a mix of several genres, including house, electro, and dubstep. He has released four studio albums and numerous singles. His most recent album, Good Faith, was released in 2019.

Madeon will be performing at the Empty Bottle in Chicago on July 21st.

ODESZA

ODESZA is an American electronic music duo from Bellingham, Washington, consisting of Harrison Mills (Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (BeachesBeaches). Their debut album, Summer’s Gone, was released in September 2012 to much acclaim in the electronic community. The group has since released two more albums, In Return in 2014 and A Moment Apart in 2017, both to critical and popular success. The duo is currently signed to Counter Records, a subsidiary of Ninja Tune.

ODESZA’s music has been described as “dreamy”, “lush”, and “cinematic”, featuring heavy use of samples combined with live instrumentation. The group frequently makes use of guitars, piano, and organic percussion in their productions.Their sound has been compared to that of Bonobo, Tycho, and Pretty Lights.

Seven Lions

Seven Lions is an American record producer, remixer and DJ from Santa Barbara, California. His style blends trance, progressive house and dubstep. He is best known for his 2013 single “Strangers”, which topped the Beatport charts for 16 consecutive weeks. Seven Lions will be performing at the Concord Music Hall on July 13th.
