Boston Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1881, the Boston Symphony Orchestra is the oldest orchestra in America. Based at historic Symphony Hall in Boston’s Copley Square, the BSO is a renowned ensemble of musicians from around the world, under the leadership of Music Director Andris Nelsons. The BSO performs throughout New England each year and makes regular international and domestic tours. Each season features more than 100 concerts, including 15+ pops concerts, 15+ youth and family concerts, and a holiday program.

Handel and Haydn Society

Founded in 1815, the Handel and Haydn Society is the oldest continuously performing arts organization in the United States, and specializes in the performance of Baroque and Classical music. The Society presents a full concert season of orchestral, choral, and educational programs at Boston’s iconic Symphony Hall, as well as performances throughout Greater Boston. The Handel and Haydn Society is led by Artistic Director Harry Bicket and Music Director David Trendell.

Founded in 1815, the Handel and Haydn Society (H+H) is dedicated to performing Baroque and Classical music at the highest levels of artistic excellence. H+H is the oldest continuously performing arts organization in the United States, specializing in research and authentic performance of music from the 17th- through early 19th-century periods. Through its concerts, educational programs, recordings, broadcasts, international tours, residencies, commissions, and myriad other initiatives over 200 years, H+H has built a legacy as a preeminent interpreter of historically informed performances of Early Music.

Boston Early Music Festival

One of the most highly-anticipated annual events in the classical music world, the Boston Early Music Festival takes place every summer in venues throughout the city. The festival features a wide range of performances, from operas and orchestral concerts to solo recitals and chamber music. Many of the world’s leading early music performers and ensembles take part in the festival, making it an unmissable event for fans of classical music.
