We’re already looking ahead to the 2022 Country Music Awards, and we’ve got a few predictions about who will be performing. From newbies to seasoned veterans, these are the artists we think will take the stage and wow the crowd.

George Strait

George Strait is a legendary country singer who has been active in the music industry since 1981. He has released more than 60 albums, including 32 studio albums, 19 greatest hits albums, and 9 live albums. He has also won multiple awards, including the Academy of Country Music Awards’ Entertainer of the Year award and the Country Music Association Awards’ Male Vocalist of the Year award. In recent years, Strait has toured with his son, Bubba Strait, and has performed at various music festivals.

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood is an American singer, songwriter, fashion designer, and actress. She rose to prominence as the winner of the fourth season of American Idol in 2005. Her debut album, Some Hearts, was released in 2005 and is the fastest-selling debut country album by a female artist. It was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and has gone on to sell more than 7 million copies.

Blake Shelton

Blake Shelton will be performing at the Country Music Awards in 2022.

Keith Urban

Keith Urban is a New Zealand-born country music singer, songwriter and guitarist. Urban has released 10 studio albums, three of which have been certified platinum or higher by the RIAA. His fourth album, 2004’s Be Here, produced his first number one on the Country charts with “Somebody Like You”. Eleven of Urban’s singles have reached number one on the Country charts, including “But for the Grace of God” (2000), “You’ll Think of Me” (2004), “Better Life” (2005), “Sweet Thing” (2007), “Only You Can Love Me This Way” (2009), “Without You” (2011), “Long Hot Summer” (2012), “(I Wanna) Kiss a Girl” (2008), “Blue Ain’t Your Color” (2016) and “The Fighter”, a duet with Carrie Underwood. He has also released two solo albums in Australia.

Florida Georgia Line

Florida Georgia Line is an American country music duo consisting of vocalists Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley. Their2012 debut single “Cruise” reached number one on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The song is considered the longest-running number one single in the history of the chart, having spent a record-breaking 24 weeks at the top spot.
