The Country Music Association announced today that the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will host the 52nd annual induction ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee. The event is scheduled to take place on October 22, 2022.

“We are so excited to bring the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum back into the fold as we induct a new class of members into the Country Music Hall of Fame,” said Sarah Trahern, CMA CEO. “This one-of-a-kind institution is such an important part of our industry’s heritage, and we cannot wait to honor Nashville’s rich musical legacy in front of the music lovers who call this city home.”

Founded in 1961, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is housed in downtown Nashville’s historic Music Row district. The museum tells the story of country music through interactive exhibits, films, and live performances. It is also home to the historic Ford Theater, which hosts a variety of live concerts and events throughout the year.

The 52nd annual induction ceremony will honor those artists who have made significant contributions to country music. This year’s nominees will be announced in early 2022.
