Dolly Parton’s Dollywood

Johnny Cash’s House of Cash

Situated in the rolling hills of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Johnny Cash’s House of Cash is a must-see for any country music fan. The museum is dedicated to the life and legacy of the Man in Black, and features exhibits on his musical career, his life on the road, and his humanitarian work.

Johnny Cash’s House of Cash is located in Hendersonville, Tennessee, about 20 miles northeast of Nashville. The home was built in the early 1970s and served as the Cash family’s primary residence until his death in 2003. The home is now a tourist destination, with tours available by appointment only.

What to expect

If you’re a fan of country music, you might want to add Johnny Cash’s childhood home to your list of places to visit. The house, located in Dyess, Arkansas, was restored to its original condition and opened to the public as a museum in 2014.

When you tour the house, you’ll get to see Cash’s bedroom, the kitchen where he and his siblings were raised, and the living room where the family would gather to sing and play music. You’ll also get to see some of Cash’s personal belongings, including hisstage costumes and instruments.

The museum also features a general store that sells Johnny Cash merchandise, as well as a café serving Southern-style comfort food.

Willie Nelson’s Ranch

Willie Nelson’s Ranch, also called Luck, is located in Spicewood, Texas and is open to the public for tours. The ranch sits on 1,016 acres and has been owned by the country music star since 1979. It’s a working ranch that features a guest house, an event center, and a recording studio.
