Daryl Pediford’s life

Daryl Pediford was born in the small town of Millerville, Louisiana. He was the only child of Andrew and Sarah Pediford. His father worked as a mechanic and his mother was a stay-at-home mom. Daryl was a happy and outgoing child. He loved music and often sang and danced around the house. When he was five years old, his parents gave him a small music box. That music box would change Daryl’s life forever.

His childhood

Daryl Pediford was born in 1954 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the second of three children. His father was a truck driver and his mother a stay-at-home mom. When Daryl was eight, his parents divorced and he went to live with his grandparents on their farm in upstate New York. It was there that he first developed a love for music, playing the piano and singing in the church choir.

After high school, Daryl attended the University of Massachusetts, where he studied music education. He graduated in 1976 and began teaching music in the public schools. He continued to play piano and sing in clubs and restaurants on weekends. In 1979, he met his future wife, Donna, and they were married the following year.

In 1982, Daryl and Donna had their first child, a son they named David. The family moved to New Jersey so that Daryl could take a job as a music teacher in the Newark public schools. He continued to play piano and sing on weekends, and also started writing songs. In 1988, he released his first album, “Daryl Pediford’s Music Box Blues.” The album received critical acclaim but was not a commercial success.

His influences

Daryl Pediford was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on October 10, 1951. His mother, Evelyn, was a gospel singer, and his father, Herman, was a pianist who played in the city’s nightclubs. Daryl began playing piano at the age of four and quickly developed a love for music. He was influenced by a wide range of artists, including New Orleans musicians such as Professor Longhair and Fats Domino, as well as classical composers such as Mozart and Beethoven.

Daryl’s family moved to Los Angeles in 1965, and he continued to develop his skills as a pianist. He began playing in local clubs and soon caught the attention of record producers. In 1975, he released his debut album, “The Daryl Pediford Trio.” The album featuredPediford’s original compositions, as well as interpretations of standards such as “Autumn Leaves” and “Summertime.”

Daryl Pediford has released several albums over the course of his career. His most recent release is “The Music Box Blues,” which was recorded live at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City.

The Music Box

Daryl Pediford’s Music Box Blues is a beautiful and heartwarming song about a music box. The lyrics are very touching and the music is very relaxing. The music box itself is a very special and unique item.

What is the Music Box?

The Music Box is a type of mechanical musical instrument that creates sound by using a set of pins placed on a revolving cylinder or disc to pluck the tuned teeth of a steel comb. They were developed in the 19th century and were very popular until the 1930s, when they were gradually supplanted by phonograph and radio. Some music boxes were made to play more than one tune, and they could be made to play multiple tunes by having more than one cylinder or disc.

How did it come to be?

The Music Box was originally a small, hand-cranked device that played a cylinder covered in tiny pins. The pins plucked the teeth of a steel comb, and the vibration of the teeth created sound. The first music boxes were made in Europe in the early 1800s, and they quickly became very popular.

Music boxes were originally quite expensive, and only wealthy people could afford to own one. As the technology improved and mass production became possible, music boxes became more affordable. They became hugely popular in the Victorian era, when they were often given as gifts.

Music boxes went out of fashion in the early 1900s, but they have been making a comeback in recent years. Today, there are many different types of music boxes, from small ones that play a single song to large ones that can play multiple songs. You can even find music boxes that come with special features, such as lights or moving figures.

What does it do?

The music box is an instrument that dates back to the 18th century. It is a box that contains a cylinder with pins that strike a series of metal plates or bells to produce a melody. The music box was originally designed to play a single melody, but later versions were designed to play multiple melodies. The music box is still in use today, and can be found in many homes as a decorative piece or as a musical instrument.

What are the Music Box Blues?

The Music Box Blues are a type of music box that was popular in the early 20th century. They are made up of a series of small metal disks that are played on a wind-up music box.

The disks are usually made of brass or steel and are inscribed with a series of numbers that correspond to the notes on a musical scale. The numbers on the disks are arranged in a spiral pattern so that when the disk is turned, the notes play in a continuous loop.

The music box blues were invented by German musician Daryl Pediford in 1882. He named them after the blue-colored disks that were used to make up the first version of the music box.

The Music Box Blues became popular in America in the early 1900s and were often used as background music for silent films. They were also used in vaudeville shows and were featured on many early radio programs.

The popularity of the Music Box Blues began to decline in the mid-20th century, but they have experienced a resurgence in recent years due to their nostalgic appeal.
