It received critical acclaim and helped to put Bruno on the map as one of the rising stars of the New York City jazz scene.

Since then, Bruno has released three more albums as a leader: “Changes” (2011), “City Dreams” (2013), and “Elemental” (2017). He has also appeared as a sideman on over two dozen albums by other artists. In addition to his work as a musician, Bruno is also an active educator. He has taught at the Manhattan School of Music and Queens College. He currently serves on the faculty of the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music
