Daft Punk – “One More Time”

Daft Punk’s “One More Time” is one of the most influential electronic dance tracks of all time. The French duo’s 2001 hit fused elements of house, techno, and disco to create a sound that was both nostalgic and futuristic. The song’s catchy melodies and propulsive rhythms made it a mainstay of dance floors around the world, while its innovative use of sampling helped pave the way for the EDM genre as we know it today.

Swedish House Mafia – “Don’t You Worry Child”

This track was released in 2012 by the trio Swedish House Mafia and instantly became a worldwide hit. It topped the charts in several countries including the UK, Australia, Sweden, and the Netherlands. The song was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.

Avicii – “Levels”

Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike & Martin Garrix – “Tremor” is a song by Belgian DJs Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Martin Garrix. It was released as a digital download on 26 May 2014 on Beatport and on 30 May 2014 on iTunes. The song peaked at number two on the Belgian Singles Chart and number three in the Netherlands.

“Tremor” was written by Dimitri Thivaios, Michael Thivaios, Martijn Garritsen and Giorgio Tuinfort. The song samples “The Bouncer” by Dutch hardcore group DJ Paul Elstak.

Knife Party – “Internet Friends”

“Internet Friends” is a song by Knife Party, a side project of the Australian electronic duo Pendulum. The song was released as a single on November 5, 2011, and was included on their debut studio album, Abandon Ship (2014).

The song peaked at number 2 on the UK Dance Singles Chart and at number 6 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

Zedd – “Clarity”

Zedd – “Clarity” released in October 2012 is a certified banger. It was nominated for a Grammy award and won best dance recording. The music video has over 200 million views on YouTube. The track is an uptempo electro house song with many different synths and drum patterns that will keep you hooked for the entire 5 minutes and 22 seconds.

Flume – “Holdin On”

This track is number one on our list for a few reasons. Firstly, the production is excellent. Flume is a master of his craft, and “Holdin On” is a perfect example of his production skills. The song builds and drops perfectly, and the overall feeling it gives is one of euphoria. Secondly, the song features an absolutely massive vocal performance from guest artist Gregor Salto. His vocals are emotional and powerful, and they perfectly complement the song’s feeling of triumph. Lastly, the track just makes you want to dance. It’s impossible to listen to this song without moving your body, and that’s what good dance music should do.

Disclosure – “Latch”

In 2013, Disclosure took the world by storm with their debut album Settle. The album was chock full of catchy, danceable tracks that quickly shot to the top of the charts. One of the most popular tracks from the album was “Latch”, a deep house track featuring vocals from Sam Smith. The track was an instant hit, and has since become one of the most iconic electronic dance music tracks of all time.
