The University of Central Oklahoma hosts an electronic dance music festival annually. This year, the festival will be held on April 27th.

The University of Central Oklahoma will host an electronic dance music festival featuring international DJs on April 13.

The event, called “Beat Drop,” will take place at Meacham Auditorium from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Local and out-of-state DJs will perform a variety of electronic genres, including dubstep, house, techno and Drum & Bass.

This will be the first time UCO has hosted an event of this magnitude, said Student Activities Council President Jared Taylor. “We’re really excited to bring something new and different to campus,” he said. “We think it will be a great experience for everyone involved.”
