Daft Punk

Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo consisting of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. Daft Punk is credited with bringing the french house genre to the mainstream with their 1997 debut album, Homework. The duo is also well known for their hit singles “One More Time” and “Get Lucky”. Daft Punk has won numerous awards throughout their career, including six Grammy Awards and two MTV Video Music Awards.

Skrillex

Skrillex, real name Sonny Moore, is a US electronic dance music producer who rose to fame with his 2010EP, My Name is Skrillex. He has gone on to release three full-length albums, including Bangarang (2012) and Recess (2014). His music is a mix of styles, including dubstep, house, electro and trap. He has collaborated with a number of other artists, including Diplo, A$AP Rocky and Justin Bieber. Skrillex is widely considered one of the best electronic music artists of all time.

Tiesto

Few electronic artists in history have achieved the level of success and acclaim that Dutch producer Tiesto has. Born in 1955, he got his start as a DJ in the early 1980s, and by the 1990s, he was one of the most popular Trance DJs in the world. In 2001, he became the first DJ to ever play at the Olympic Games, and in 2003, he was voted “The Greatest DJ of All Time” by mixmag. He has released numerous hit singles and albums over his career, and in 2013, he was inducted into the Dance Music Hall of Fame.

Avicii

Avicii, who passed away in 2018, was a Swedish producer and DJ who was one of the most influential figures in electronic music. His hits include “Wake Me Up,” “Levels” and “Hey Brother.” He was nominated for two Grammy Awards and won numerous other accolades.

Armin van Buuren

Armin van Buuren is a Dutch DJ and producer. He is known for his work in the trance music genre, and is one of the most popular DJs in the world. He has released seven studio albums and has collaborated with other artists such as Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Paul van Dyk, andAbove & Beyond.

Joel Zimmerman, more commonly known as deadmau5 (stylized as deadmau5; pronounced “dead mouse”), is a Canadian electronic music producer, DJ, and musician. Zimmerman produces a variety of styles within the progressive house genre and sometimes other forms of electronic music. His works have been included in numerous compilation albums, such as Tiësto’s Magik series, and he has produced two tracks for Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance series. He was also ranked No. 6 on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs poll in 2013 and 2014 His debut album, Get Scraped, was released in 2005. Zimmerman has received six Grammy Award nominations for his work.

Zimmerman was born on January 5th, 1981 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. He began making music at the age of 8 with basic computer programs such as Music Maker and Acid Pro. His first professional release came in the form of the single “English Summer / Rain”, released on Scott James’ label Enhanced Recordings in May 2005. In 2006, deadmau5 started his own record label named mau5trap through which he releases most of his works. Get Scraped was Zimmerman’s debut album released under the alias “deadmau5”, achieving RIAA gold certification in February 2010 after selling more than 500,000 copies worldwide.[10] The album’s title track was used as part of a television advertising campaign by shaving product company Gillette.[11] Physical copies of Get Scraped were available with two bonus discs containing unmixed versions of some tracks and other remixes by other producers including NZ Shapeshifter.[12][13]

While studying at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario,[14] Zimmerman soundtracked an entire independent film called Failstate about a group of super villains who are trying to make it big.[15] The film was premiered at the Hamilton Film Festival[16] on October 29th 2006 where it won awards for best picture,[17] best make-up/special effects[18] and best original score.[19][20]

In 2007 Zimmerman signed to Play Records after receiving international acclaim for his works uploaded to MySpace under the name “deadmau5”.[21][22][23] Play Records released three compilations featuring songs from deadmau5 between 2007 and 2008: Mau5hits,[24] At Play Vol. 1[25] and At Play Vol 2..[26][27][28] Mau5trap also released two corpses:[29][30][31] A live mix CD entitled Live @ Womb Tokyo which features a selection of tracks recorded during a live performance at Womb nightclub in Tokyo Japan on July 22nd 2007,[32][33][34][35]-and- 12″ vinyl called Faker that includes three original tracks produced by Zimmermann: “Faker”, “Arguru” and “not exactly”.[36 1st Pressings were limited to only 300 copies shipped out randomly to customers who ordered from the mau5trap website with each order placed during October–November 2007..

Swedish House Mafia

Swedish House Mafia is a house music supergroup consisting of DJs and producers Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008, and went on to release their debut album *Until Now* in 2012. They announced their breakup in 2013, but have since reunited for a number of live performances.

Swedish House Mafia is one of the most successful electronic music groups of all time, selling over 10 million records worldwide. They are also credited with helping to bring house music to the mainstream, thanks to hits like “Don’t You Worry Child” and “Save the World.”
