-Trance: A genre characterized by high energy builds and breakdowns, often with a central melody or “riff”.

The Crowd

The people

The partygoers come from all corners of the city and surround the block. Most are in their 20s, and a handful are in their 30s. The group is about 70 percent male and 30 percent female. They dress in a casual style – think jeans and T-shirts – but many of the women don sexier attire, such as short skirts and crop tops.
