We’re looking for octave 3, so we’ll find the third tick mark from the left. Finally, draw a line straight down from C#3 until you hit the third tick mark from the left. The point where your line and the tick mark intersect is the frequency you want to cut.
In this example, we would set our lowpass filter at 130 Hz and boost or cut as needed.
