The Band
Faded Soul Decision is a four piece rock band from Detroit, Michigan. The band was formed in 2011 by brothers Andrew (guitar) and Matthew K Hill (drums). The two had been playing music together since they were young, but it wasn’t until they recruited their high school friend, bassist James Hart, that they began to take their craft seriously. The trio spent the next few years honing their sound and playing shows around the Midwest.
In 2014, the band released their first EP, “The Weight of the World.” The EP was well-received by fans and critics alike, and led to the band being named “Best New Artist” by Detroit’s Metro Times. The band followed up the release with a string of successful shows, including a headlining spot at Detroit’s St. Andrews Hall.
In 2016, the band released their second EP, “From the Ashes.” The EP was another success for the band, debuting at #1 on iTunes’ Rock charts. The band continued to tour in support of the release, playing shows across the country.
The band is currently working on their third EP, due out in 2018.
