Her story

Miranda Leigh Lambert (born November 10, 1983) is an American singer and songwriter. Outside her solo career, she is a member of the Pistol Annies alongside Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. Lambert has been honored by the Grammy Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, and the Country Music Association Awards.

Lambert’s debut album Kerosene (2005) was certified Platinum in the United States, and produced the singles “Me and Charlie Talking”, “Bring Me Down”, “Kerosene”, and “New Strings”. All four singles were top 40 hits on Billboard Hot Country Songs. Her second album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (2007), was released two months after her divorce from Blake Shelton. Backed by the lead single “Gunpowder & Lead”, it was certified Platinum in the United States and produced three more top 40 country singles: “More Like Her”, “‘Mama’s Broken Heart”, and “House That Built Me”.

Her third album, Revolution (2009), was certified Gold in the United States and produced the singles “Dead Flowers”, “\”Heart like Mine\””, \”The House That Built Me\”, and \”White Liar\”. Bolstered by the huge crossover success of the singles “Jesus, Take the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats”, it became the best-selling solo female debut album in country music history, the fastest-selling debut country album in Nielsen SoundScan history and the best-selling country album of the last 10 years. Dolly Parton was born on January 19, 1946, one of 12 children in a poor family in rural Tennessee. Despite her difficult childhood, she always had a passion for music and songwriting. In 1964, at the age of 18, she moved to Nashville to pursue her dream of becoming a country music star.

Parton’s big break came in 1967 when she was invited to sing on The Porter Wagoner Show. She soon became one of the most popular singers on the show and ended up releasing a string of successful duets with Wagoner. In 1974, she released her signature song, “I Will Always Love You,” which went on to become one of the best-selling singles of all time.

In 1980, Parton starred in the movie 9 to 5 alongside Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. The movie was a huge success and led to Parton writing and singing the movie’s theme song, “9 to 5.” The following year, she released her best-selling album Heartbreaker, which featured the hit singles “Sweet Dreams” and “Why’d You Come in Here Lookin’ Like That.”

Reba Nell McEntire (born March 28, 1955) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. She began her career in the music industry as a high school student singing in the Kiowa High School band, on local radio shows with her siblings, and at rodeos. While a sophomore in college, she performed the National Anthem at the National Rodeo in Oklahoma City and caught the attention of country artist Red Steagall who brought her to Nashville, Tennessee to perform during the opening of his fan club. In 1976, she signed a contract with Mercury Records a year after she graduated from college. She released her debut album in 1977 and released five additional studio albums under the label until 1983.

After leaving Mercury Records in 1983, McEntire signed with MCA Nashville Records and released two studio albums for MCA: My Kind of Country (1984) and Have I Got a Deal for You (1985). She then released an additional five studio albums before signing with Arista Nashville in 1988. The first four singles from that album reached number one on the country charts: “My Baby Loves Me”, “Is There Life Out There”, “I’d Rather Ride Around With You”, and “Fancy”. The success of these singles helped propel her to superstardom and she became one of country music’s most successful female artists of the 1990s. Her story

Loretta Lynn was born in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky, on April 14, 1932. She was the second of eight children born to Clara and Ted Webb. Loretta’s father gave her a guitar when she was eight years old, and by the time she was thirteen, she was appearing on local radio stations singing country songs.

In 1948, at the age of sixteen, Loretta married Doolittle Lynn (known as “Mooney”). The couple had four children together and would eventually divorce. Mooney was abusive towards Loretta, and she later said that he would hit her even when she was pregnant. Despite the abuse, Loretta remained devoted to her husband and often sang about the ups and downs of marriage in her songs.

Loretta began to find success as a recording artist in the 1960s. Her song “Coal Miner’s Daughter” became a number one hit in 1970, and the following year she became the first female performer to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
