Make Music New York

Make Music New York is a unique festival of 1,500 free concerts in public spaces throughout the five boroughs of New York City on June 21, the longest day of the year. From 11 in the morning to 11 at night, you can find concerts of all genres on sidewalks, stoops, plazas, parks, and other public places. All of the concerts are free and open to the public.

The Make Music New York festival began in 2007 and has grown each year. In 2018, there were over 1,200 concerts organized by 700 volunteer coordinators and featuring over 6,000 musicians. This year’s festival will be even bigger and better!
