The first concert on our list is the Freight Hoppers. The Freight Hoppers are a traditional bluegrass band from North Carolina that has been around since the early 1990s. The band is made up of five members who all contribute to the vocals and instrumentals. The band has released nine albums, three of which were nominated for Grammy Awards.

The Freight Hoppers will be performing at the Mercury Lounge on March 3rd. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

The Brooklyn Folk Festival is a three-day music festival that features more than 100 artists from around the world. This year’s lineup includes such folk favorites as The Decemberists, Joan Baez, Frank Turner, and many more. Tickets for the festival are $25-$35 and can be purchased through the Brooklyn Folk Festival website.
