The Royal Oak is located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Grassmarket, within the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. The Royal Oak has been serving traditional folk music in Edinburgh since 1967 and is one of the most famous folk music pubs in the city. The pub is also well known for its delicious food, including haggis, neeps and tatties.

It is within walking distance of many of the city’s attractions, including the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh Castle, and the Scottish National Gallery. The Bluebell has a wide variety of beers and ciders on tap, as well as a selection of wines and spirits. The pub also has a stage for live music performances, and hosts a variety of events throughout the year.
