The Folk Music Society of Huntington (FMSH) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) educational organization dedicated to the preservation and perpetuation of traditional folk music, dance and related performing arts. We accomplish this through public concerts, dances, jams, workshops, sing-arounds, special events and educational programs.

FMSH sponsors two public folk music concerts each month featuring national and international touring artists as well as the best local talent. Our intimate 120-seat Recital Hall provides an ideal setting for an up close and personal experience with the performing artist. In addition, we hold a monthly old-time stringband/square dance featuring live music by some of the area’s best traditional musicians. No partner or experience is necessary – beginners are welcome!
